Terms and Conditions for Gardening Services

    1. Service Provision
        • Gardening services are offered for pre-booked durations of 1 hour, 2 hours, 3.5 hours, or 7 hours.

        • Services are performed by a team of two gardeners, including one senior gardener, and include time for loading and unloading within the booked duration.

        • The team will confirm client priorities upon arrival to ensure realistic expectations are set based on the scheduled timeframe.

        • The scope of work is limited to garden maintenance tasks and excludes heavy digging, tree work, and non-gardening tasks.

        • Arrival times may vary by up to 1 hour due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic or delays. Clients will be notified if delays exceed this window.

    1. Client Responsibilities
        • Ensure clear and unobstructed access to the garden. If access is through the house, the client must provide floor protection to avoid time being deducted from the gardening service.

        • Provide valid parking permits if required. Delays caused by parking issues will not result in extended service time.

        • Ensure the property is safe for the gardening team, including notifying the team of potential hazards.

    1. Payment, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
        • Full payment is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable.

        • Bookings must be used within 30 days of the payment date; unused bookings will be forfeited without refund.

        • Clients may reschedule appointments up to 48 hours in advance using the Now Gardening app. Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment will incur a full charge.

        • Failure to provide access without prior rescheduling or cancellation will result in the full-service fee being charged.
        • Rescheduling by Now Gardening: In the event that we need to reschedule an appointment for any reason, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, staff illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will notify the client via email or app notification. The booking will automatically be rescheduled to the next available slot. If this new booking time does not suit the client, it is the client’s responsibility to reschedule to a more convenient time using the Now Gardening app. Now Gardening is not responsible for further adjustments to the booking.

    1. Liability
        • Now Gardening’s liability for property damage is limited to repair or replacement costs up to £200. Clients must report damages within 24 hours of the service.

        • The company is not liable for delays or issues caused by client actions, including lack of access or incomplete information.

        • Neither party is liable for failure to perform obligations due to unforeseen events such as natural disasters or other force majeure situations.

    1. Dispute Resolution
        • Disputes must first be addressed through direct communication. If unresolved, mediation or arbitration may follow. Legal proceedings will be conducted under UK law.

        • Each party will bear its own costs for dispute resolution unless determined otherwise by the arbitrator or court.

    1. Service Standards
        • The gardening team will arrive in uniform and equipped with professional-grade tools to ensure high-quality service.

        • Services are provided as agreed upon during booking. Adjustments may be made on-site to accommodate immediate garden needs but within the limits of the booked duration.
